
Ahmad Hafeezi Ali Amat
Ahmad Hafeezi is a Full Stack Software Developer on Angular, NodeJS, Python Flask, ASP.Net Core for Web and NodeJS, Python for Edge on Raspberry Pi. He has been doing programming since late 2005. He was mainly on Windows platform earlier on then fell in love with Linux in 2009. Microsoft .Net was his bread and butter until middle 2018.
He started branching out to Python, Frontend Web Frameworks and NodeJS in 2015 and now doing it full time after leaving his job in 2018. Now he is working at Kinabalu Makers Sdn Bhd as Managing Director, Software Lead and Software Architect. He was also one of the Founders of Kinabalu Coders in 2014 and served as Vice President until late 2019. Now he is serving as Treasurer for Kinabalu Coders.

Abhishek Mishra
Abhishek Mishra is a Software engineer at Essentia SoftSer in India and primarily works on Python. He is also an active community contributor in dev community like GDG’s, Python User Groups across India, and one of the organizers of PyCon India. His goal is to make the dev community especially the Python community more diverse & inclusive across the globe.

Arthur RAYMOND
Arthur Kent Raymond started programming back in 1986, and has been involved in the professional software industry in Kota Kinabalu since 1998. He currently works in Digital Heritage Sdn. Bhd. – the software, web and data arm of Sabah.Net Sdn. Bhd – and has been one of the architects behind some enterprise-level state government projects. In his off-hours, he keeps on programming for Kinabalu Coders – officially known as Persatuan Pengaturcara dan Pembangun ICT Sabah – and its myriad communities and interest groups.
Arthur’s skills and interest include: PHP; Python; Android; Open Data; the Internet of Things and information security; along with computing and “making” (as part of Maker Culture). As a key member of CPython’s and Project Jupyter’s Steering Councils, Carol brings a depth of practical experience in OSS governance and sustainability. As a core developer of JupyterHub, Binder, and CPython, she brings real-world knowledge of what makes OSS projects successful. She earned the ACM Software System Award in 2017 for Project Jupyter. In 2019 she received the Frank Willison Award for Contributions to the Python Community. Carol holds a BSE in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MS in Management from MIT.

Guido van Rossum
Guido van Rossum is Python’s creator. He is Dutch, but lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Until July 2018 he was Python’s BDFL (Benevolent Dictator For Life), and he is still deeply involved in the Python community (especially in the area of language design). Until October 2019 he was a Principal Engineer at Dropbox. He is now retired. He loves parentheses.

Ivy fung
Started her career as a programmer, Ivy Fung moved on to take on management and sales and marketing roles. After spending a good decade in those roles, she was excited by the blockchain technology and decided to take a u-turn.
With the experiences she gained as a Toastmaster, she focuses on training and technical writing. She spent 2019 training more than a hundred of lecturers in more than a dozen of universities about blockchain technology.
Ivy joined Python community in order to rejuvenate her coding skills and ended up being more active in organising PyCon.

Joao Goncalo Bilhim
Joao is a self-appointed Data Maniac and has been working on applying data to solve complex problems for over 20 years. Joao is currently passionate about Machine Learning, Python and AI. During the day, Joao leads the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Specialist team for Asia at Microsoft, and, in his spare time, Joao loves to put to work new data techniques and principles to his off-work passions.
Joao hails from Portugal, joined Microsoft in 2006 and has worked in the Middle-East, Africa and Asia for the past 10 years.

Dr.Kyle Kotowick
Dr. Kotowick is the founder of a Canadian consulting and development firm focusing on prototype and POC development for complex systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Systems Integration from MIT’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, which he completed in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He has served as a consultant, architect, and developer for global firms, startups, and universities; as the Director of Information Technology for an ambulance service; and as a researcher for military navigation systems and for life support systems in space.

Pei Seng Tan
Pei Seng is experienced in computer vision, text analytics, reinforcement learning and web application development. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and a Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He is also a technical writer on Medium under publishers namely Towards Data Science, Better Programming and Data Driven Investors.
Pei Seng is certified by HRDF as a qualified TTT Trainer. He organized more than 15 technical workshops at USM, UTM and TARUC for the past 3 years. One of his accolades was being appointed as a Gold Microsoft Student Partner (MSP). The grand sharing sessions that he has recently contributed to include Barcamp Cyberjaya 2020 and Asia MSP June 2020.

Tetsuya Jesse Hirata @ Jesse is a software engineer working at an EdTech company based in Tokyo. He has been working with data scientists and involved with several ML projects.

Vaibhav Srivastav is a Data Scientist working with Deloitte Consulting LLP. Vaibhav works with Fortune Technology 10 clients to help them make data-driven (profitable) decisions. Daren TAN

Diogenes Armando Pascua
Diogenes is an electronics engineer and is currently taking up his Doctor of Engineering degree in his country, Philippines. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.
He is passionate in embedded systems such as micro-controllers and SOCs. He started out programming embedded devices using C, but have migrated lately to Python particularly the Micropython fork. He creates robots and IOT devices using Micropython and has been a recipient of research Grants for these projects.

ING WEI TANG
Ing Wei was the chair for PyCon MY 2019 and the co-chair of PyCon MY 2018. He has spoken in various PyCons, particularly in PyCon APAC 2018, as well as participating in PyCon communities actively in Malaysia.
He uses Python a lot in his daily work, especially coding the automation process and flow. During his past time, he likes to experience and perform hacking different things on operating system level.

DR. IVAN LING
Ivan Ling received his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) from Swinburne University of technology and has recently completed his PhD from the University of Southampton. He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Southampton Malaysia, involved in teaching programming and digital electronics modules. Ivan is an avid science communicator and is involved in various research outreach programs within Malaysia and the UK. Ivan’s research interest centers around the development of sensors for environmental and pollution monitoring, as well as sustainable technologies to reduce such pollutions. He is also the recipient of the 2019 IET-Greenpeace Global Challenge Award.

Jean F. Queralt
Jean F. Queralt is the Founder and CEO of The IO Foundation, a nonprofit advocating for Data-Centric Digital Rights. For too long, he had been disturbed by the level of intrusion that information and communication technologies have in the personal lives of citizens and societies at large.
With a full career in IT, first as a programmer and later as a sysadmin, he took the leap in 2018 of founding The IO Foundation to establish a more solid and targeted direction to address Digital Rights from a technical standards perspective.

He received a Usenix Lifetime Achievement award in 1999, an O’Reilly Open Source award in 2011 and sits on the X.org foundation board.

Paul is a PyCharm and WebStorm Developer Advocate at JetBrains. Before that, Paul was a co-founder of Zope Corporation, taking the first open source application server through $14M of funding.
